Volunteer Report Form

Yes I am back from Germany safe and sound and processing, so I will post about my trip a little later.  I just finished my Volunteer Report Form.  Basically twice a year Peace Corps Washington wants to know what all the volunteers are doing, so we have to fill out this long form, with every little activity and thing that we have been doing.  The truth is I didn’t really think that I have done much, other than teaching, and the way that some people talk to me at school I sometimes believe that.  In reality I do a lot, and I have had a lot of activities at my school and in the community.  I guess that sometimes having to write them all down on paper makes you think about what you actually do.  I know I want to do more.  Many of these students are hungry for information and for anybody to teach them something useful and relevent to their lives.  Many of these students didn’t understand why english would be important to them.  I know I have made a difference, I still haven’t had that moment of clarity yet.  I guess this is a start.
