I have come to realize how much life is a series of markers that show the passage of time. Yesterday was my parents anniversary. In Peace Corps those markers also mark the passage of your service. When you join the Peace Corps that means you agree to give 27 months of your life to a greater cause: that’s 2 birthdays, 2 Christmases, 2 Easters, ect. Besides my Father’s birthday, which I will spend three of them in Bulgaria due to the date that I entered service. Anyway Easter is around the corner. It feels like time is marching on.
