I know, I can’t believe it either. I have made it past the one year mark here on my Peace Corps journey and it’s exciting and crazy at the same time. I guess I never really saw myself as the sort of person who would drop everything and see the world. I wanted to be my whole life, but I guess I never thought I would do it. And the strange thing is, that’s the hardest part, just getting off your lazy but and doing it. I joined the Peace Corps for many reasons, to help people, to see the world, well most of you have read my blog and know. Now that I have hit that one year mark it all doesn’t seem as scary. What is crazy is the fact that I have just realized in one year that I have taken over 1500 photos. These are photos of activities, trips, food, everything. I wonder how many photos I will have by the time I finish. If I keep going at this pace over 3000. Maybe that should be a goal. I know it’s far from a record, but what this is for me, is a record of what I have done here. It’s a way for me to show people about Bulgaria. So as I finish this cup of tea I say cheers to my fellow volunteers and here is to another great year of service and more wonderful photos.
